Prayers Requests and Praises

1Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

Praises:

In spite of the challenges we face each and every day, God has been good to us and kept us safe and sound thus far. We are grateful to be able to worship together as a church family while taking precautions such as wearing masks, avoiding hugs and hand shaking for now.

Praise the Lord for the special Sabbath we have the opportunity to worship at the church with a special message brought by Pastor Jeff Donaldson on “Daniel’s Ongoing Vision of the Last Days”. In the times we are living in, it is crucial that we understand where we are in God’s prophetic messages. Understanding this reaffirm that we can trust God’s word – The Bible. The message is available on church website as well as on church Facebook

Praise the Lord for each of His mercies and His goodness endures forever.

Pastor Jeff praises God that his daughter is home after completing a successful semester in college.

Prayers Requests:

Please continue to pray for our Aiken SDA Church, church needs, our pastor, Pastor Jeff, and church leadership.

Pray for SDA Church at large: General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, and the leadership, Carolina Conference and its leaders, mission fields, different ministries doing God’s work to advance His Kingdom: Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries, It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Secrets Unsealed, etc.

Personal prayer requests from church family and friends:

Alice informed me that our sister Rhonda Smith has been moved to Selected Hospital in Augusta for specialized care. Information on how to communication with her via cards/telephone will be in the bulletin on Sabbath, December 12th. Keep Jimmy and family in your prayers.

Claudette Armentrout: Linda Wood, Tom Norris, Russell Kitchens, Ronda Smith, Lillian Alston, Gloria Clayton, Joan Muller, Lee Volkening, Larry Callahan, Ann Dicks, Connie Wise, Barney Brooks, Karyn Domingue, Sandy Owensby, Rosemarie Bossert, Leon and Robert Edinger, Anthony and Annette Patrick, as well as herself. Also, for travelling mercies as her daughter returns home.

Ken Davis asks prayers for Annette who is suffering from many bug bites and must go to emergency room and for Anthony as he will have surgery soon. He also solicits prayers for a coworker’s knee.

Connie prayer for Russell as he visits his daughter.

Gabriela reminds us to keep Karyn Domingue and Barney Brooks in our prayers as they mourn the loss of a mother/wife.

Please take time from your busy schedule to mention these prayer requests during your personal prayer time. Use the bulletin insert to write the names of people you are praying for and place the list in your Bible. This will give you the opportunity to pray for these names every time you open your Bible or during your devotional time.
