Prayers Requests and Praises

1Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

Praises:

In spite of the challenges we face each and every day, God has been good to us and kept us safe and sound thus far. We are grateful to be able to worship together as a church family while taking precautions such as wearing masks, avoiding hugs and hand shaking for now.

Praise the Lord for the special Sabbath, we had the opportunity to worship at the church with a special message brought by Brother Joe Powell. The message is available on our church website as well as on our church Facebook page.

Praise the Lord for each of His mercies and His goodness endures forever.

Brad is praising the Lord for His guidance in finding the truth about Sabbath and His assistance in daily life.

Lucky is praising the Lord she found a plumber

Gabriela is praising the Lord for His help in her brother’s recovery from COVID. He is feeling much better, expected to be discharged to home on Monday. A huge praise goes to the Lord for His protection of her brother and two other church members recovering from COVID in the hospital when a fire broke out on Sabbath at the very same hospital in the ICU unit. God is good indeed!

Prayers Requests:

Please continue to pray for our Aiken SDA Church, church needs, our pastor, Pastor Jeff, and church leadership.

Pray for SDA Church at large: General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, and the leadership, Carolina Conference and its leaders, mission fields, different ministries doing God’s work to advance His Kingdom: Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries, It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Secrets Unsealed, etc.

Personal prayer requests from church family and friends:

Claudette Armentrout: Linda Wood, Tom Norris, Russell Kitchens, Ronda Smith, Lillian Alston, Gloria Clayton, Joan Muller, Lee Volkening, Larry Callahan, Lillian Alston, Ann Dicks, Connie Wise, Tom Coleman, Rosemarie Bossert, Leon and Robert Edinger, Barney Brooks, Anthony and Annette Patrick, as well as herself.

Lucky Davis asks prayers for people affected by COVID 19 as there is an uptick in the number of cases as well as protection from the virus.

Said Leon asks prayers for his family in Rhode Island, for protection from COVID as there is spike in the number of cases in the area.

Keith Campbell asked prayers for Tameka’s mother dealing with ear pain and seeking medical care and her best friend as she is dealing with severe case of palpitation.

Becky ask prayers for Karyn Domingue as she is about to lose her mother.

The update is that Leslie Brooks, Karyn’s mother, has passed away on Sabbath afternoon. Please keep Barney Brooks, Karyn, and the rest of the family in prayers.

Alice asks prayers for Rhonda Smith who was admitted to hospital on Thursday and presently is in ICU.

Gabriela asks prayers for Russell Kitchens. He is Okay for his health problems, but not well enough to come to church. Pray also for all the health needs of our members.
