Prayers Requests and Praises

1Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

Praises:

In spite of the challenges we face each and every day, God has been good to us and kept us safe and sound thus far. We are grateful to be able to worship together as a church family while taking precautions such as wearing masks, avoiding hugs and hand shaking for now.

Praise the Lord for the special Sabbath we has the opportunity to worship at the church with a special message brought by Our own Pastor Jeff. The message is available on church website as well as on church Facebook

Praise the Lord for each of His mercies and His goodness endures forever.

Praise the Lord for new and returning visitors as well as returning members: Brad – first time visitor, Suzanne Gurr, Vickie Norris, and Becky Morton. It was a blessing to see you all.

Prayers Requests:

Please continue to pray for our Aiken SDA Church, church needs, our pastor, Pastor Jeff, and church leadership.

Pray for SDA Church at large: General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, and the leadership, Carolina Conference and its leaders, mission fields, different ministries doing God’s work to advance His Kingdom: Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries, It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Secrets Unsealed, etc.

Personal prayer requests from church family and friends:

Claudette Armentrout: Linda Wood, Tom Norris, Russell Kitchens, Ronda Smith, Lillian Alston, Gloria Clayton, Joan Muller, Lee Volkening, Larry Callahan, Lillian Alston, Ann Dicks, Connie Wise, Tom Coleman, Rosemarie Bossert, Leon and Robert Edinger, Leslie and Barney Brooks, Anthony and Annette Patrick, as well as herself.

Lucky Davis asks prayers for everyone that is in the path of hurricane Eta, also for health needs for Martha and Nathan Young.

Melissa Donaldson asks prayers for her mother who was newly diagnosed with Lupus, for protection during this pandemic as she is dealing with an autoimmune disease.

Gabriela asks prayers for Tom Norris recovering at home from surgery and her brother diagnosed with COVID doing better in some aspects, but not so well on others. He was admitted to a local hospital today due to concerns with the changes in his lungs. Pray also for all the health needs of our members.
