Prayers Requests and Praises

1Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

Praises:

In spite of the challenges we face each and every day, God has been good to us and kept us safe and sound thus far. We are grateful to be able to worship together as a church family while taking precautions such as wearing masks, avoiding hugs and hand shaking for now.

Praise the Lord for the special Sabbath we has the opportunity to worship at the church with a special message brought by our pastor Jeff Donaldson. The message is available on church website as well as on church Facebook.

Praise the Lord for each of His mercies and His goodness endures forever.

Ann Dicks: Praise the Lord for his goodness and intervention in Ann’s friend life, Shirley Abney. She had been recovering from multiple strokes in past few years that left her with severe mobility impairment. She give praise to God as after hard work and physical therapy she have been able to recover to the point that she is able to used her arms and legs well enough to stand.

Gabriela: Praise Lord for the faithfulness of our church members that supporting our church in every way possible. Praise the Lord that Rick, our friend was able to find suitable living arrangements as a result of prayer and trust in God.

Prayers Requests:

Please continue to pray for our Aiken SDA Church, church needs, our pastor, Pastor Jeff, and church leadership.

Pray for SDA Church at large: General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, and the leadership, Carolina Conference and its leaders, mission fields, different ministries doing God’s work to advance His Kingdom: Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries, It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Secrets Unsealed, etc.

Personal prayer requests from church family and friends:

Ann Dicks ask prayers for Luther Hicks dealing with cancer, Bea Barron dealing with heart problems and Karyn Domingue for patience and strength as she cares for her parents.

Claudette Armentrout: Linda Wood, Tom Norris, Russell Kitchens, Ronda Smith, Lillian Alston, Gloria Clayton, Joan Muller, Lee Volkening, Larry Callahan, Lillian Alston, Connie Wise, Ann Dicks, Rosemarie Bossert, Leon and Robert Edinger, Leslie and Barney Brooks, Anthony and Annette Patrick, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, as well as herself.

Kenneth Davis: Asks prayers for Michael Sheriff, the lay pastor for Three Angels SDA Church in Batesburg as he is dealing with return of melanoma. He needs our prayer and support as he will seek treatment at Wildwood.

Gabriela: health needs for Tom Norris recovering from surgery, Linda Wood multiple health challenges, and Tom Coleman dealing with cancer and effects from chemotherapy.
