Prayers Requests and Praises

9/12/20

1Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

This week prayers and petitions will cover the past two weeks.

Praises:

In spite of the challenges we face each and every day, God has been good to us and kept us safe and sound thus far. We are grateful to be able to worship together as a church family while taking precautions such as wearing masks, avoiding hugs and hand shaking for now.

Praise the Lord for the special Sabbath we has the opportunity to celebrate the Communion service with a special message brought by our own, Pastor Jeff Donaldson. The message is available on church website as well as on church Facebook.

Praise the Lord for each of His mercies and His goodness endures forever.

Ann Dicks: Praise the Lord for His protection from what could have been an accident

Lucky: Praise the Lord Thomas have arrived safely from Japan

Robert: providential healing of a wound caused by a rusty nail.

Gabriela: Praise Lord for the faithfulness of our church members that supporting our church in every way possible.

Prayers Requests:

Please continue to pray for our Aiken SDA Church, church needs, our pastor, Pastor Jeff and church leadership.

Pray for SDA Church at large: General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, and the leadership, Carolina Conference and its leaders, mission fields, different ministries doing God’s work to advance His Kingdom: Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries, It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Secrets Unsealed, etc.

Personal prayer requests from church family and friends:

Claudette Armentrout: Linda Wood, Tom Norris, Russell Kitchens, Ronda Smith, Lillian Alston, Gloria Clayton, Joan Muller, Lee Volkening, Larry Callahan, Lillian Alston, Connie Wise, Ann Dicks, Rosemarie Bossert, Leon and Robert Edinger, Leslie and Barney Brooks, Anthony and Annette Patrick, as well as herself.

Claudette also asks for prayers for people affected by the fires in California and Oregon.

Ann asks prayers for her son and people in California and Oregon in the path of fire.

Rick – Prayers for daughter in law Latahsa as she will have surgery this week. He also asks prayers for the family of Amber Gamble. She passed away last week from overdose and left behind two young children (7and 5 years old)

Said – Prayers for his coworker and friend Chuck - he is in the hospital with heart problems.

Valerie asked for prayers for healing of her back pain

Joan is also asking for prayers for relief from her back pain.
