Prayers Requests and Praises

1Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

Praises:

In spite of the challenges we face each and every day, God has been good to us and kept us safe and sound thus far. We are grateful to be able to worship together as a church family while taking precautions such as wearing masks, avoiding hugs and hand shaking for now.

Praise the Lord for the message this Sabbath brought by Terry Perry. The message is available on church website as well as on church Facebook.

Praise the Lord for each of His mercies and His goodness endures forever.

Gabriela: Praise Lord for the faithfulness our church members that supporting our church in every way possible.

Prayers Requests:

Please continue to pray for our Aiken SDA Church, church needs, our pastor, Pastor Jeff and church leadership.

Pray for SDA Church at large: General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, and the leadership, Carolina Conference and its leaders, mission fields, different ministries doing God’s work to advance His Kingdom: Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries, It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Secrets Unsealed, etc.

Personal prayer requests from church family and friends:

Claudette Armontrout: Linda Wood, Tom Norris, Leslie and Barney Brooks, Anthony and Annette Patrick, Russell and Arlene Kitchens, Ronda Smith, Lillian Alston, Gloria Clayton, Rosemarie Bossert, Leon and Robert Edinger, Joan Muller, Lucky and Kenny Davis, Lee Volkering, Pastor Beaven and family as well as herself.

Gabriela: Prayers are requested for Pastor Beaven by wife Phyllis Beaven. Pastor Beaven was the interim pastor for our church while Pastor Ben has taken his Sabbatical on 2019. He did made a mark on our church and seem like we did made a good impression on him as he wanted our church to be aware if something happen to him. He had been battling a bad case of COVID 19, so bad indeed that on Thursday 8/20/20 he was given hours up to a day to live. Praise the Lord on Friday he was still alive and able to have communication with family. Please keep him and his family in prayers.

We, Robert and myself, lost unexpectedly a dear friend Eugene Pelletier. While his loss was a shock for both of us we trust God He knows what was the best and He allowed Gene to sleep in the Lord with the hope of resurrection on that great day of His return. It make us realized how frail our life is and how much more we need to be ready for Jesus second coming.

Pray God will prepare us to be ready for His soon coming. Prayers for people dealing with health issues this Sabbath – we missed you.
