Aiken SDA Church

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you and expected end. Then shall he call upon Me, and he shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart” Jeremiah 29:11

From Gabriela

Each Sabbath is a blessing from the Lord and this one has been no different. Praise the Lord for His Goodness.

Pastor Ben was in the pulpit and his message brought before us the concept of - Behave.

The memorial for our Brother Robert Wickham was immediately after luncheon at the church. It was time to remember him and the influence of his life in our church. Thank you for all who took time to join us for this special service.

Sabbath afternoon was an opportunity to have a training meeting. As we are approaching our evangelistic meetings the need was felt for more time spend in preparation and James has graciously agreed to help us in this area.

Last week I did mention about the need for prayer for this common purpose. We did talk about this at Sabbath evening training meeting and we agree to have a time, 10-15 minutes, in prayer every Wednesday evening at 7PM. We propose these options : Two or three can get together at this time in person or over the phone and pray or each person can pray wherever they are at that moment. If you have better ideas please share, but regardless what option you like please pray.

For all the members near or far please set your reminders to pray with us on every Wednesday at 7PM for 10-15 minutes for:

Aiken SDA Church,

evangelistic meetings,

evangelist Pastor Veil,

James Sauve, our Bible Worker and his work in this area,

all the people God has ready to listen to His calling in this area of the world.

Pray God will give you a safe and prosperous week filled with His blessings.
