Christian and Josh Couch to get all in their marriage worked out and follow the truth. Rebecca Couch and Robbie Sullivan are getting married tonight. Please pray for happiness and true love and Christ in their lives. Rehnita Stone to really get to know the truth and accept. Also that Barney and I will witness as we should. My brother's family to come back to Jesus. All my grandchildren to accept Christ.

Patrick Anthony:

Please pray for my father in New York. he had a stroke after we got back to S.C. from N.Y. visit.

Joan:

Our children. Our president, congressmen and senators.

Ruth Brudi:

Please lift up my sister BJ and her family. They've been evicted from their house and have nowhere else to go. They've got until Monday afternoon to be out of there.

Karyn will come to church even if the others do not show up. We need more people to join our church with children. Pray I will get well. I'm very tired all the time and in pain. I want to be healed.

Let's try to remember these requests during our devotions this week. I pray you will all have a blessed week.

Pray for Tabitha and her family, especially her siblings who are addicted to alcohol. Pray that she can find another rent controlled apartment in NY. Tabitha was a member of our church when she worked in SC many years ago.

My brother-in- law, Henry, was rushed to the hospital this afternoon after having a stroke. He is blessed that only minimum paralysis occurred. Pray that he commits his life to Christ and surrender bad health habits and drugs to Him.

Pray for an acquaintance who has a sick husband and a son who is in the hospital.

Everyone have a joyous week and extend grace to someone who needs it.

The answering machine at the church had a message on it requesting prayer. It was from a lady named Anita Smith. The call came in from the Washington D.C. area.
She requested that we pray for her medical issues and her family members.

Henry: Please pray for the Gilmore family in Massachusetts. My friend was killed in a horrific car accident on April 22nd leaving a wife and 5 year old daughter. He was 32 years old.

Mary: Please pray for my son, Brian. After losing his "wife" of almost 10 years (she passed on Easter Sunday), he's having a tough time as everyone does when losing a loved one. Also, Mom and Poppa Bill. They are both 91 years old, live alone in a big house and don't feel the need to go into an assisted living. Pray that they will realize that they need help.

I want to thank everyone who has offered up prayers for Cindy over the last couple of years. She passed away yesterday around 4 o'clock. She is now sleeping and waiting on the resurrection.

First, I would like to give praise and thanks to God for His goodness, mercy, compassion, and long-suffering toward our church family and friends. He is an AMAZING GOD who answers the prayers of those who come to Him with an humble and contrite heart.

Wilhelmina's knee surgery was successful and she is in rehabilitation at Pepper Hill Nursing/Rehabilitation Center just off Gregg Street. Her room number is 412. Arlene Kitchens will have eye surgery on February 23rd.

Prayer Requests:

For young adults who have started attending church, seeking God's guidance For unity among the brethren and expression of brotherly love For our family members/friends who know of GOd, but do not know God For healing of church members who have/had the flu, pneumonia, and respiratory problems For the Shawn who has a fleshing eating virus For the continuing progress of God's Church on the Hill For the financial faithfulness of members and friends For those members who contribute their time and energy to the new church

Checked out our website if you have not accessed it lately. Brian is doing and excellent job maintaining it and presenting pictorial views of our church activities, especially the progress of God's church from start-present.

The church presented 100 book bags with school supplies to North Aiken Elementary School off Wire Road on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Much thanks to Pastor Ben, Don & Mary, Alice, Gloria, and Becky for their assistance.

Happy new year again,

ABSENTEES: I am going by memory because I did not take the time for deliberate inspection on yesterday so this list may not be complete: Lee V., Karen and her grands, Christian, Ann, Michelle, Mike, Gracie, Don and Mary, Brian and Francis, Trisa is no longer attending Aiken Church VISITORS:Rafael's (our speaker for the day) lady friend, there were some visitors sitting in the chairs on the back left -hand side, looked like a family, but I did not get their names. PRAYER REQUESTS: JOAN MULLER: All my neighbors: Karen's husband died, Gail's son died; Linda found a spot on her lung; Milton is paralyzed from waist down his wife Patricia has heart problems; Joe will have heart surgery, his wife Meg is unable to urinate; Mary Ellen is in ICU-her kidney's are shut down; that all goes well with closing of a house that Evelyn inherited. GLORIA CURRY: Pray for my niece Kiesha Lloyd Kennedy, director of the Lloyd Kennedy Charter School and Aiken Performing Arts Schools in Daniel Lloyd Education Education Center. She has a severe case of asthma. Because of previous treatments through the years they cannot find one that will work. Pray for healing or recovery. Continue to pray for me as I work in the communities surrounding our area; also my upcoming Share Him trip to Africa. Pray for safe travel mercies as I attempt to serve in the capacities which God has given me.. Pray for all Prayer Warriors for the signs of the times are increasing. May we be vigilant in our work. Continue to pray for Hillary. Her digestive system is inflamed from throat through rectum increasing in intensity down to large intestine. They have not been able to control the bleeding. Pray for Hillary to understand her condition and how to control it. Pray for George who continues to be bombarded by Satan's torments through his family members by withholding money the judge has granted up front. He has no transportation and lives in a rural community. Lights, gas, phone services, food are constantly juggled by grace of God. Pray for Laverne, his sister, who controls the money from their mother whom he took personal care of for the last 10 years of her life. Let's pray for these requests and all others that we are aware of that affect the events that are ocurring that are and can affect the soon coming of Jesus and our readiness to be lifted up with Him when the time comes. REQUEST: GLORIA CU.--A family is having great conflict since the passing of their mother in July. Two oldest siblings are not speaking to each other. The one in charge refuses to give the $10,000 the judge ordered to go out to each. The youngest gave 10 yrs. of her life to take care of their mother. Now the youngest has nothing and the sister will not give her the money. Pray that all continues to go well with finishing the work on the church and we can have our official grand opening. Pray for safe travel back home for all who were visitors at our church today. Pastor, I may not be at meeting on the morrow. ALL, have a good week and stay warm Sis. 'Mina
